Editorial artwork

Really nice project to work on for the famous three pointed star publication. The brief was lovely, super open. The objective was to create something which had a positive vibe and encompassed the classic three pointed star.

With Mercedes being such an iconic brand that it felt like quite a responsibility but it was a joy to work on. Rather than actually creating artwork within the shape of the badge I felt it was more interesting to create the artwork "around" the badge instead.

The artwork was created with vector graphics but started life as a series of sketches. The artwork itself is extremely detailed.
