Flying colours

Debut album artwork

We were commissioned to create artwork to promote the prog rock band, Flying Colours. The brief was to capture the band and their individual characters in an 'AkA' way. It was important to capture the energy of the band and so this was something that was heavily focussed on along with, naturally, their style of music. The piece was created mainly using vector imagery but there was also a small amount of 3D and Photoshop used too. This was a really fun project to work on.

We were very honoured as the band contacted us directly to thank us for our work! They were a really nice bunch of guys and were very pleased with the piece as were we.
